“Something Happened” is a moody, moving, quasi-psychedelic masterpiece. “All The Way to Riyadh” sounds a bit like the Smithereens with a slightly softer edge.
Punchy, post-punk heavy on the distortion. The Sons of Hercules sound like the Stooges, but with better production. It’s fast and in-yer-face, yet bouncy.
Blanks 77 play in a style similar to older Peter and the Test Tube Babies, and add to the pogo-ability of the traditional form. Another worthy, overlooked band.
Repress of a compilation released in ’91. Jawbreaker do a remix from their first demo. Monsula and Cringer (R.I.P.x2) cover each other’s songs, and Nuisance.
From the cover and band name, I was expecting either Japanese noise or Japanese girlpunk. What we have instead is Britnoisepop that bounces and bashes.
