Pollen – Chip – Review

April 1, 2000

Quirky, funny, and with a knack for tunes about girls. The vocalist is as strong as Chad or Milo, and he’s got an equally muscular band behind him.

Perry Ferrell – Rev – Review

April 1, 2000

Outcast/ Zao split – Review

April 1, 2000

Outcast never survived beyond this outing. Both bands sound very young on this under-produced disc, with high-end everywhere and no warm lows to be found.

Pinehurst Kids – Viewmaster – Review

April 1, 2000

Up tempo, poppy indie rock that sound “garage-y.” Signs of Superchunk here and there. The production leaves much to be desired, as do some of the arrangements.

NOFX – The Decline – Review

April 1, 2000

Brutal anti-everything commentary ripping away at human nature, the government, big business, slackerdom, God, injustice, violence, and avoidance/escapism.
