Like Neubauten, like Crash Worship, like ¡Tchkung!, Savage Aural Hotbed loves drums. Lots of ’em. But unlike said bands, SAH are not political, nor even savage.
Killing Floor is a full band who seem to fall into an area of borderline metal with some electronics. Geez, except for a few loops, it reminds me of grunge.
The relentless barrage of bleak symbolism and stylized squalor can get a tad wearying in a single sitting, but you’re unlikely to find better all in one place.

Swamp Terrorists have a good intro on Five in Japan, dark and menacing, but it simply moves into an industrial/metal hybrid that does no justice to either.
Pigface. Martin Atkins and friends have once again blown my mind with A New High In Low, a bold exposition in sound and texture. An absolutely necessary disc.
