Raw Power – Fight – Review June 1, 1995 Walls of guitars, scorching solos, gruff Fight! vocals and one thwack of a snare drum. Great metalcore anthems like I haven’t heard in years.
Mourning Sign – Alienor – Review June 1, 1995 heir songs tend to flow from somber, funereal dirges, to hyperfast blasts of rage. Progressive death metal without long and boring songs. Sad yet powerful.
Mind Riot – Peak – Review June 1, 1995 I can honestly say this is one of the most diverse metal albums I’ve heard. But please, next time hire a producer.
Expulsion – Overflow – Review June 1, 1995 Rumblings so low, they sound truly evil. Growling vocals and minor chord progressions lead me to label this as doom without the surreal keyboards.
Acrimony – Hymns to the Stone – Review June 1, 1995 The closest I can come is a psychedelic heavy rock band that closely studied the teachings of the Godfathers of acid rock, Black Sabbath.
