All the favorite songs are on this 12-track CD. “Manwich” features Ilsa spouting feminist spew while vocalist Anneka sings a lovely lullaby in the background.

“Something Happened” is a moody, moving, quasi-psychedelic masterpiece. “All The Way to Riyadh” sounds a bit like the Smithereens with a slightly softer edge.
Jennifer Jason Leigh has a gift for portraying the most desperate and disconsolate characters in her films. Sadie Flood is definitely one of the more pathetic.
Punchy, post-punk heavy on the distortion. The Sons of Hercules sound like the Stooges, but with better production. It’s fast and in-yer-face, yet bouncy.
Their third release (first for Atlantic), and still as coarse and nasty as ever. Selene Vigil screeches like she’s just had a car door slammed on her hand.
