Ostensibly an odds’n’sods collection, this curiously-titled release is packed with enough good material that it could’ve passed as a “great lost album.”
This should’ve followed Scared Straight. The hollowed-out three-chord punkers that dominated the last two albums are replaced by well-crafted rock songs.
This comp nails it. Unlike Now That’s What I Call Shitty Music: Volume Four Billion, How We Rock compiles 19 hotshots and whatnots both trendy and “classic.”
I’m goddamned sick and tired of battlin’ writer’s block to once again arrive at a frustrated first step, y’know, leave me alone and let me go back to bed. I say that every issue, and now I quit.
