The first real song, “Rub Yer Daddy’s Lucky Belly,” rocked my ass and made me laugh, and the good times don’t let up for the album’s 33 minute running time.
Some will be too “street punk” or “mod/garagey” for ya, but it’s just cool to hear bands on TKO and Hellcat back-to-back with Estrus/Bomp!/In the Red bands.
This comp has no theme, it’s not a tribute/benefit. It’s just flat-out unadorned rock ‘n’ roll music, loud ‘n’ coarse ‘n’ white trash, like it’s supposed to be.
