Little Sister – at Lion’s Den – Review

Little Sister

at Lion’s Den

It’s Mischief Night (the night before Halloween, for all those unenlightened souls) and Little Sister is playing at the Lion’s Den in Greenwich Village, NY. It promises to be a great show. Alright, the trip from Worcester got off to a slow start, thanks to the slowest bus driver known to man; nothing a little alcohol can’t cure! The band rented a bus to ship themselves, a group of their “loyals,” and yours truly, to the show. When we did finally arrive it was off to a quick dinner and then to the Lion’s Den. Little Sister was on first (not a great spot, but they’re not locals) and they put on an electrifying show. Lead singer Andrea Thurber’s voice could send shivers through your body right down to the soul.

With an amazing lineup consisting of Alex St. Amand on lead guitar, Dan Kuja on bass, Chris Bride on the keys, Randy Gendron on drums and backup singers Dalene Heckman and Maria Maillet, Little Sister puts on a show that just can’t be missed. This night was no exception, and when it was over I was left wanting more. Little Sister will be playing in the area again on December 23 at Sir Morgan’s Cove in Worcester. Check it out.
