While this is about as “alternative” as any other mainstream rock megaband we’re force-fed by conglomerates, Hallucination has an infectious vibe that is totally summer. Top down, shoeless and beach-bound with a cooler of beer and a few packs of butts – that’s the way to appreciate Shaw-Blades. If hook-laden, harmony-saturated jammin’ makes your skin crawl with flashbacks of the God-awful bands you listened to because you were too young to know better, steer way clear. Otherwise, crank it up!
