The Fondled

For the Fondled, being in a garage-punk band is an inevitability rather than an aesthetic choice. They sing and play their instruments with the carefree attitude of little children who know they can’t play with precision and couldn’t care less. These days, a band like this is a rarity. There’s usually an attempt (albeit unsuccessful) to mask amateurism with artsy platitudes, or, folks who actually can play with competence, pretend they can’t to achieve that “garage” sound. Kudos to the Fondled for being bona fide brats!
