Calling yourself a “Beer and Music Magazine” lends itself to speculation. Will it be reviews while drunk? Covering only bands that write songs about drinking? Reviewing only beers that have some relationship to a band? A ‘zine filled with songs about beer? Well, Zoom is none of these. However, it is a slice of interviews/ reviews of bands (almost entirely heavy metal) and local breweries (Mill City, Martha’s Exchange). Also, there is a rant about how bad Busch is (duh), and some comics from Cultural Jetlag. The layout (all in Courier font) sometimes cuts off some words, and it gets hard to read at times, but stick with it. You’ll learn something.
