Okay, I guess we all have to face it: pop punk isn’t going away just yet. But these guys seem quite sincere and the songs are fun, so stop being such a snob! Plus, I can’t help but mention, unlike certain Yank bands you like, Goober Patrol has an excuse for the silly Limey accents. And they are at least aware that they’re beating a dead horse (and smiling all the while). As they put it in “Happy Tunes,” “Friends have been [here] ahead of me and bashed the door off.”
