Providing a new generation of metalhead guitarists with thrashy riffs is, I guess, necessary. I can see the joy in playing this style. While it’s kinda selfish, at least Guillotine is really good at playing like Kreator. Snakespit vocals, ripping guitarwork, wild fretboard flailings (that means they play solos), and ump-pa, ump-pa drumming the likes of which we’ve come to expect. The bass is rather loud in the mix, but I only say that ’cause there really ain’t much else to complain about. If you like old Kreator, you’ll like this. If you missed out on old Kreator, well, here’s Guillotine.
