Upbeat, sing-along tunes from members of Token Entry, Warzone, and Black Train Jack. While the first song really hooked me, the rest of the album is a bit empty. However, even if most of the songs are a tad shallow in terms of substance, it’s always a delight to hear a band try to combine pop-punk and hardcore. Although Grey Area‘s debut is a mediocre attempt at best, I definitely see room for improvement in their future.
