Limp – Guitarded – Review

Limp

Guitarded (Honest Don’s)
by Scott Hefflon

Melodic punkpop/powerpop produced by Ryan Green (almost everything on Fat) – why are Limp worthy of mention? Well, that’s a tough one. They just are, dig? They have an ex-member of Screw 32, write songs you can sing along with by the end, and while I remember absolutely nothing when the CD’s over, I’m greatly tempted to replay its 30 minutes again. While it may be unfair, Guitarded sounds like it was written and recorded between tours with Lagwagon, No Use For A Name, The Pietasters, Bouncing Souls, Less Than Jake, and The Suicide Machines. Because it was. But, hell, it’s one of the simplest and coolest cover concepts and album titles to come though in quite some time.
