I guess this is what the folks would call “power punk.” Power pop tempo (not unlike Weston) and Elvis Costello melodies meet punk rock attitude. It’s a tasty combination if you love this sort of thing, as it’s very capable of making you bop up and down like it’s 1979. The trading off vocals add another dimension to the songs, and are all-around well sung and teenie-boppie. Give this a few spins if it doesn’t hit you at first, because it’ll grow on you with time. “You Got it Good” is definitely one of the catchiest short songs ever written.
