Half Japanese, half American hardcore, many of the names here are familiar, and the others, well, they’re the Japanese bands I’ve never heard of that make this comp worth listening to. I hear this was supposed to be out a while ago, thus the claim that most of the tracks are unreleased is no longer accurate. Many have, many haven’t, but let’s not nit-pick, huh? With 18 songs, 40 minutes of various sub-genres of hardcore at your remote-punching fingertips, there’s a little something here for any fan. Bands: 88 Fingers Louie, Downfall, Snapcase, Decay, Grey Area, Lawdeal, Indecision, Aggressive Dogs, Kid Dynamite, Abnormals, Shutdown, Stompede, Fury 66, X-Floors Up, Sick Of It All, Bent Root, Toe to Toe, and Stab4Reason.
