Punch Drunk – Review

Punch Drunk

(TKO)
by Scott Hefflon

If you’re a fan of good ol’ punk, the kinda snarling, rawkus rock that makes you lock arms with yer mates, spilling beer all over yourself in merry roughhousing, Punch Drunk is just the thing. While catchy and sing-alongable, there ain’t much here you’d call pop-punk without fear of getting your teeth knocked in. Dangerous, fun, and energetic: isn’t that what punk is supposed to be? Bands: The Forgotten, The Workin’ Stiffs, Dropkick Murphys, The Bodies, Loose Lips, Reducers S.F., Lower Class Brats, Dead End Cruisers, The Beltones, Pressure Point, Anti-Heros, The Templars, The Randumbs, Swingin’ Utters, The Upsets, Electric Frankenstein, The Truents, Suburban Threat, Peter and the Test Tube Babies, and U.S. Bombs.
