Cool, the drummer sings. Like “Sister Christian” by Night Ranger. Um, or Jellyfish… No? Loser. “Beth” by Kiss? Whatever, the drummer sings. Sidecar is a fun punk band from the punk hotbed of Columbus, Indiana. They self-produced and self-released four records I’ve never heard and been on a bunch of comps I don’t think I have, but now’s my one big chance to introduce you to a band that’s going to be opening for bands you’ve heard of for some time. Energetic, a decent sense of melody, kinda muddy in the mix, and worth not leaving the room if you show up early for the band you wanted to see.
