Swedish prog/heavy metal with a killer guitarist (Johan Reinholdz), unexceptional vocals (ex-Darkane vocalist Lawrence Mackrory, kind of out of his element), and run-of-the-mill songwriting (once you pick up yer jaw and get beyond the astounding playing).

Decent traditional keys’n’guitar conversations match the tendency to wind on and on in a jam that you can really lose yourself in, but then the harsh slap as a fumbled transition grinds your gears as ugly as accidentally dropping your rapidly-accelerating car into second instead of fourth. Eat dashboard and swear, right? Same goes here. Get a songwriter in there (or a mentor of some sort) and these Swedes will rule!
