The Nerve Agents – The Butterfly Collection – Review

The Nerve Agents

The Butterfly Collection (Hellcat)
by Jon Sarre

Boy, aren’t we angry? Can’t have a hardcore band unless yer angry I guess (Adrenalin OD were one of the few funny practitioners of the genre, I can’t think of too many others). The Nerve Agents are pretty good tho’, once ya get passed their pissed-offness (if ya wanna, mebbe ya don’t). The thing about rage for rage’s sake is it just sorta gets dull, but they’re all mad anyway and the music matches, so it’s all good for forty-five minutes or however long this thing lasts. I dunno, I sorta like it, but I’m too old to go off and break stuff other than myself, so what do I do? I’m sittin’ here at midnite and I’m listenin’ to these guys go on and on and on about nothin’ I really care about, but mebbe you will.
