One of six EPs pairing up bands from different locales but similar musical aesthetics. Viva Voce steal the show on this one, presenting three songs that sound like “Sexy Sadie” meets Low. Soul-Junk contributes interesting material as well, somewhere between DJ Shadow & Cut Chemist’s Brainfreeze and De La Soul-style soul/hip hop. Though the other splits in the series aren’t as engaging, this one’s a strange but intriguing match.
