Fall Silent – Drunken Violence – Review

Fall Silent

Drunken Violence (Revelation)
by Adrian Bromley

An appropriate album title to go with the chaotic wreckage Reno, Nevada’s Fall Silent have assembled here for us to sift through. Brutally raw, crass, and irritating beyond all means (but in a good way), Fall Silent hits us high ‘n’ low with a sonic assault that could take down a herd of buffalo. Singer Levi Watson screams/shrieks his way through an assortment of noisy hardcore/metallic numbers, most notably “The First Seven Inch Club,” “Violence,” and “War Poetry.” In the end, Fall Silent aren’t pretty at what they do and we need to accept that. Play it loud and rock hard, boys!
