Like Dinosaur Jr. if J. Mascis had never left the hardcore scene. Thistle ride the melodic “swish” of ringing cymbals and fuzzy guitars, not so much overpowering you but slowly ebbing away at the senses with patience. These guys could fit on a bill between Rival Schools and Pavement and still hold up swell.
