Brandtson – Death & Taxes – Review

Brandtson

Death & Taxes (Deep Elm)
by Tim Den

A fiery EP from one of Deep Elm’s best. Almost idiotic to call Brandtson “emo” at this point, since the band’s ridiculously tight and disciplined harmony vocals (can you think of another drummer who sings this well?) place the band far beyond the confines of the one-trick-pussyfest crowd. But you know how it goes: Punchy, catchy, heart-on-sleeves, and a billion trillion better songs than anything on rock radio. Someone make a video for these dudes so they can blow the fuck up!
