Human Television have been compared to The Wedding Present a lot for good reason. Jangly guitars, hop-along tempos, noodle-y melodies, rough-but-catchy vocals: These guys live in the late ’80s/early ’90s and love it. No straying from the formula at all, just rock beats, arpeggios, chords, and singing that’s half spoken and half sung. Oh yeah, Longwave only wishes they can write a song like “Tell Me What You Want.”
