The Winter Pageant – Waning/Waxing – Review

Waning/Waxing
by Scott Hefflon

I’m way too high strung to enjoy quiet, textured indie rock. Glockenspiels and long, delicate falsetto notes drip like summer rain, and imagery like that. Someone compared them to The Autumns, Eaves, and Stills, and I only know The Autumns (and got them on the mp3 CD), and I really like their brand of classy atmosphere rock, so that’s a place to start. Fans of this type of gentle music, here’s a good one for ya.
