You gotta be pretty angry to not get infected with The Soviettes energy. Peppy girl punk, catchy as a cold, and while dancey punk is trendy, the kids have been bopping since the “Cretin Hop,” so lighten up, ya know? Good to see Fat lending their distro might to this band, cuz they’ve always deserved more of a push than Adeline could ever give them. For anyone who wished The Donnas stayed punk, or miss the Dance Hall Crashes, here’s a “new” band to adore. They’re from Minneapolis, if ya didn’t know. I’ve always found that interesting.
