Clit 45
2, 4, 6, 8… (BYO)
by Scott Hefflon
Maybe they rock live, who knows? They sound young, which ya gotta be to still think sneering at shit makes a goddamn bit of difference, and this is their second full-length for BYO. Yeah, ok, so fake accents aside, there are a couple real barn-burners here, “It Ain’t Over” being my fave. Group shouts and swearing and shitty production remind me of learning Circle Jerks and Minor Threat songs on guitar, missing most of the notes and fucking up the timing, but thinking it sounded rad anyway. They’ve opened for The Casualties and The Unseen and probably other East Coast “The” bands, and someday, they’ll probably headline and have young, interchangeable but energetic punk bands with fake accents open for them.
