Black Helicopter – Invisible Jet – Review

Invisible Jet (Ecstatic Peace)
by Scott Hefflon

From the ashes of Green Magnet School and Kudgel, two bands who gained respect outside of Boston, Black Helicopter slowly built it up with a release on Traktor7, probably got some love on StonerRock.com, and now they’re on Thurston Moore’s boutique label, Ecstatic Peace. This outing is a lot more poppy than I recall, having fond memories of rumbling bass more than mid-’90s college rock. So a little something different, but worth listening to and deciding whether ya wanna follow their lead.
