“Two ex-punks turned Americana songsmiths cover each other’s material and collaborate on a new gem about more than a decade’s worth of indie martyrdom.” That’s in big type on the bio, and it makes this sound intriguing, yes? I realize I hate cheesy country and all (Johnny Cash and world-weary songsmiths who happen to play country being far different than steel-guitar country boys), but this is just a novelty to me, one I’m done with in under three minutes.

Jeff Caudill was in Boston’s Gameface, Brooklyn’s Drive Til Morning is essentially Francis Garcia.
