Slapdash frontman Steven Graff likes XTC and Bob Mould, and it shows. Or, more accurately, it sounds like it. With a strong social message, yet positive while sifting through potentially negative subjects, Graff’s everyman voice sings the notes, speaks the truth, and doesn’t go around pointing the finger without accepting some of the blame, simply for being human. Ten songs Billy Bragg might nod to and say “run with it, kid.”
