Two records deep, sounding A LOT like Sonata Arctica, who I love on late-night drives. Heavy metal, with powerful/warbling vocals, and rich, orchestral texture (moreso than Sonata Arctica, who stick more to the double bass thunder of classic heavy metal). The choirs are huge, the harmonies are layered to the stars, and yeah, there’s a power ballad for the girls.
