Taking Back Sunday To Perform Tell All Your Friends 10th Anniversary Tour

After completing a summer run on the 2012 Vans Warped Tour and playing to thousands of people across North America, Long Island’s Taking Back Sunday will hit the road again this year in celebration of the 10-year anniversary of their first release, the acclaimed Tell All Your Friends. The two-month full US tour, which will feature special guests Bayside as main support and a variety of openers along the way, will begin in Cleveland, OH, on October 4 and will run through November 23, where the band will make an appearance at New York City’s Terminal 5. Along the way, the tour will visit major markets across the U.S. including Chicago, IL, on October 6, San Francisco, CA, on October 21, Los Angeles, CA, on October 25, Washington, DC, on November 11 and Philadelphia, PA, on November 14. The tour will feature Tell All Your Friends in its entirety as well as other favorites from the band’s extensive catalog.

Since forming in 1999, Taking Back Sunday have released five albums and earned one platinum and two gold records. Tell All Your Friends, a monumental album released in 2002 has laid the groundwork for a sound and performance style that still fills up clubs and concert halls to this day.

“This record propelled our career to heights we never could have imagined,” the band said. “This fall we will tour the United States and play the album in its entirety to celebrate not only that record, but also how that record changed our lives and provided us a career that has spanned over a decade. We could not be more excited.”

Taking Back Sunday is Adam Lazzara (lead vocals), John Nolan (guitar, vocals), Eddie Reyes (guitar), Shaun Cooper (bass) and Mark O’Connell (drums). The band has been fortunate enough to tour the world with some of the biggest names in rock music including Linkin Park, Blink-182, Faith No More and Green Day to name a few. They have also performed on the main stage of some of the world’s biggest festivals including Reading and Leeds (UK), Soundwave (Australia), Summer Sonic (Japan), Bamboozle (US) and 2007’s global Live Earth where they shared the Giants Stadium, New Jersey stage with Bon Jovi and The Police.

Taking Back Sunday have had multiple Top 5 Billboard Soundscan debuts, Top 10 alternative radio hits, received rave reviews in major publications from Rolling Stone and SPIN to People, and have been lucky enough to perform on every major nightly talk show including The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Jimmy Kimmel Live, Late Show with David Letterman and Late Night with Conan O’Brien.
