S.F.W. – Review

S.F.W.

(A&M)
by Joe Hacking

A&M sent this soundtrack with no press material, just the CD cover, with some dude flipping the middle finger. They gave us no idea what this movie is all about. Not even a press photo. The movie is now being postponed for a January release, so I say “So Fucking What!” to the movie and will now discuss the disc.

On the disc you’ll find a fine compilation of contemporary grunge, punk, and assorted music for the angry. There’s Soundgarden, Hole, Radiohead, Cop Shoot Cop, and Suicidal Tendencies, to name a few. It’s as if someone went forward in time, grabbed a K-Tel Grungie Nineties disc, came back, and slapped S.F.W. on the cover. If the movie lives up to the soundtrack, expect a box office hit.
