If you miss old school black metal, the kinda necro-fuzz that sounded like a swarm of bees, this’ll one up ya. Sure, there’s the frantic, shitty-sounding blastbeats and blurry speed-picking of “Summer Decapitation Ritual,” but the real twist of the fork in yer eye is off-kilter donking over evil swooshes the likes of which we haven’t heard since early Celtic Frost scared the bejesus out of us.
