Metachrome has all the charm of late ’80s industrial. Unfortunately, the charm seems to wear off after a few songs and reminds me of a real bad night at a club.
Reminiscent of Goo Goo Dolls and the top 40 rock gracing the airwaves, this Boston-based band gives us more of the same, with none of the first album quirks.
Joe’s voice sounds as good as ever – mellow and stoned-sounding yet not apathetic, melodic and yummy bubblegummy and the lyrics aren’t completely inane.
Huntingtons recorded at Sonic Iguana with Mass Giorgini, there’s no “The” in front of their name, and all the band members last names are listed as Huntington.
