Impaled have that early ’90s Earache sound with similarities to death metal legends like Entombed and Carnage, but have created their own formula for chaos.

The songs (essentially the same for both sets on these two discs) don’t exactly sound all that great. In fact, you’d probably conclude that “they sucked live.”
Like Starmarket, Snuff, and fellow countrymen, Hi-Standard, Husking Bee’s heavy guitars in no way detract from the band’s melancholy vibe and emotional impact.
