Hermano – Dare I Say – Review

June 13, 2005

Guys from Supafuzz, Earshot, and Orquestra del Desierto link up with Mr. John Garcia, who peddled his wares in Kyuss, Sloburn, and Unida. All great rock units.

Heimataerde – Gotteskrieger – Review

June 13, 2005

If Wumpscut and Suicide Commando were highly influenced by medieval times. The songs are thumping EBM creations, but include what sounds like bag pipe samples.

Grendel – Soilbleed – Review

June 13, 2005

Three new songs, including a much-unexpected collaboration with Ordo Rosarius Equilibrio, and two remixes of “Soilbleed” from Agonoize and Obszon Geschopf.

Goldfinger – Disconnection Notice – Review

June 13, 2005

Disconnection Notice takes risks, but they’re worth it. A definite improvement from their last album (which was still decent). Goldfinger may be getting older, but they’re still rocking out, and doing it better than most of the young pop-punkers.

Tenchu – Fatal Shadows – Review

June 13, 2005

When you’ve got Splinter Cell and Ninja Gaiden, something so mediocre is inexcusable. Gameplay is rote and uninspired, and the graphics feel dated and clunky.
