Dreamy Brit-pop/atmosphere in bed with traditional emo. Soothing tempos filled with emo guitar stylings, but salvaged from Bland City with written vocal lines.
Old school grind/death just the way I like it. Think a cleaner version of Reek of Putrefaction or Mentally Murdered, high screams backed by low growls and all.
Outcast never survived beyond this outing. Both bands sound very young on this under-produced disc, with high-end everywhere and no warm lows to be found.
Up tempo, poppy indie rock that sound “garage-y.” Signs of Superchunk here and there. The production leaves much to be desired, as do some of the arrangements.
