They’re angrier, less poppy, and sound like a lot of the mid-’90s Fat catalog of rampaging, start/stop, technically-impressive punk with a lot of heart.
These Swedes rock hard, with a gruff-voiced singer and songwriting ability that makes you wanna joyously slam into yer buds, roughhouse a little, and celebrate.
Since Pennywise take as kindly to progression as they do to corporate America, you can bet your bottom dollar they’ll be sounding this way for a long while.
