Will Haven drops the “No Stars To Guide Me” video, and announces several new tour dates, including their participation in Decibel’s Metal & Beer Fest 2024.
The sound is ’70s enough, the vocal snarl is acceptable, and the sing-song “no more pencils” is delightful, but there’s really nothing new brought to the song.
Nü metal morons and old metal morons both understand that “the kids” will dig Will Haven, and they’re right. Yeah. Hints. Promise. Bubbling. Keep at it kids.
This sounds like every other metal/noisecore band out there. Chug-chug-chug, scream! Sludge-sludge-sludge, scream (again)! Atonal shred-shred-shred, snore…
How better to offer tribute to a band that criss-crossed punk, hardcore, metal, and reggae than to have a long and diverse comp that’s practically unlistenable?
Definitely out to progress with each release, Revelation will no doubt continue their ten-year tradition of releasing the most diverse and excellent hardcore.
