Ned Hayden of The Action Swingers is not happy. He tells his wretched story on Quit While You’re Ahead (Caroline). He released the “Bum My Trip” / “Kicked in the Head” 7″ and “Fear of a Fucked Up Planet” / “Blowjob” 7″ back when indie rock meant something. Most of the other tracks he never bothered to release. Julia Cafritz (ex-Pussy Galore/Free Kitten), Don Fleming, J. Mascis, and Johan Kugelberg play on some of the songs. Thurston Moore sometimes does gigs with him. Ned hates liner notes in CDs.
