Ethereal popmeister Sean Bowlty returns with his first full-length in nearly five years. The opening songs are poppy in comparison to the lulling middle of the disc. The tracks before and after their haunting interpretation of the Irish ballad “I Am Stretched on Your Grave” are darkly soothing. Eden is as subtle as soft rain, with Bowlfy’s rich voice buffeting your face with gentle winds of vocals. Sensuous and regal. In comparison, the structured songs seem like leftover Cure singles.
