I seem to recall liking their first album, but The Carnival Bizarre is just gloomy post-Sabbath cheese with a metal growler. Tony Iommi’s guest appearance, gongs, Vincent Price samples, and eerie effects don’t save this one. This is embarrassing and silly, not scary.
