This is a promising publication that wins extra points for the nice glossy cover. Issue #13 has interviews with New Bomb Turks and Showcase Showdown (Boston pop punk favorites), band photos and profiles, comics, poetry, letters, and reviews (music and live shows). The music covered here is strictly punk and hardcore (or whatever they’re calling it these days… labels are for food and drugs, not people and music). If you like Green Day, Rancid, NOFX, Bad Religion, etc. then this is definitely for you! Punk rock is alive and kicking in the pages of Rapid Fire Magazine.
