All the mohawks and tattoos in the world can’t disguise the fact that this is a rock band. Sure, “Do you Understand” has that “Do You Wanna Dance” thing the Ramones mastered (ah, give me the Mamas and the Papas’ version any day) and most of the songs sound like a hard rock band covering Rancid, but what do you expect from aging rockers who suddenly realized the outcast skatepunks of yore are making all the money?
