Savior Servant – Review

Savior Servant

by Scott Hefflon

Somewhere in my intentionally-blurred memories of the late ’80s, I remember this kind of ploddingly melodic heavy metal/hard rock being popular. Long-haired musician dweebs looking all intense (well, silly, actually), playing passionate rock ballads Skid Row and the revamped Metallica would have the common sense not to put on their records. Yeah, the puffy-haired chicks used to really dig this stuff, but those days are gone, fellas. To quote from your own painfully inane lyrics, “Give it up.”
