Vocalist John Garcia (ex-Kyuss) leads his team of soulful adventurers through the heavy murk of post-Sabbath searching for truth, enlightenment, and the ultimate riff. Garcia stands apart from the other acid rock retroheads by crooning and howling in his own signature style, rather than emulating the signature sound of the greats. With a dirty, sludgy groove similar to COC, Slo Burn churns out an impressive four-song EP alluding to the potential they could have through the expression of a full-length.
