Well-produced, powerful melodic post-punk with a female-sounding frontman. The songs have an aggressive feel (thanks to the meaty drummer), but don’t lose the sunny/upbeat feel. A faster version of Hankshaw, perhaps? And even though claiming to have ” Revolver-era Beatle melodies” is way beyond wishful thinking, M.I.J. can belt out solid tunes of their own.
